Kate Palayground Galerry

at competitive aquatic programs

Greetings Again, this month we talk about water activities, get good weather and are more of them decide to sign up for the outdoor pools here are some ideas for activities that may interest you, I hope you like them. A greeting

is currently experiencing a growing interest in physical activity in general. Aquatic Activities therefore are not alien to it. We can say that there is a social demand for education in the care of the body, improving physical fitness and body image, health, and use constructive leisure time with sports and recreational activities, one of the most popular water activities. The increase in infrastructure for their practice is another fact.

The various institutions and organizations facing the twofold issue of cause and effect: First, to absorb the actual demand, and secondly, to promote activities that trigger and potential demand materialize. On the issue is a fundamental issue: Improving the quality of life. For any technical

escapes the aquatic activities, specifically in its various alternatives, are a way of contributing to this wealth, which complement, so diversified, many areas of personal life in different sectors. And that is why, access and appropriateness for practice, fitness becomes a priority in companies and aquatic facilities.

has generated awareness and profit improvement in different areas. Depending on how you use water activities to achieve goals may be more likely to: a utilitarian approach (learning to swim as profit), an educational approach (formed as a person), a competitive approach (get the most out of learning) A recreational approach (just for fun) or other approaches (health improvement, led to infants or the elderly).

relationship with the aquatic environment is based almost exclusively on the teaching of swimming strokes, leading to the misconception that the water environment is the sport of swimming. But, just as the use of the terrestrial environment in physical education (PE) does not mean we have to athletics (although if you know running, jumping, throwing ...) use the aquatic environment is not go swimming as a sport competition (though knowing how to swim).

Deepening the subject of fitness, endurance and strength in the aquatic environment can say that there are certain programs that perfectly complement and enhance these qualities. For example Aquafitness which is a program to maintain the health and image, thereby allowing the daily tasks with vigor, without undue fatigue, with energy to enjoy leisure and have unforeseen energy, having the confidence to act in bizarre circumstances. Such programs can be carried out to people of different ages. Aquafitness components are endurance, strength and flexibility. (Ibáñez, 1996). The other muscle toning muscles, sometimes increasing in volume and sometimes not.

scientific contributions in the past recommended within any routine training exercises to an overall improvement in strength, but not this should fall into a limited and restrictive approach.

The retreatants repeatedly performed a series of gestures that require a relatively long muscle tension without reducing the effectiveness of the same and may require training of the highest expression dynamics and high explosive with a view to complementing a preparation towards recreational activities and sports. The strength in its various forms and possibilities shall be governed by the principles that apply on land, although in the aquatic environment provided specific benefits currently

There are many programs running water in our swimming pools, a variety that sometimes makes us feel a little overwhelmed and not clearly understand all these new concepts Anglicisms, FEDA (English federation of aerobics and fitness) and organizes existing water programs:

Cardio-aqua. is a method of aquatic physical exercise implemented by Brew (1996) and consists, in addition to aspects already mentioned, in being submerged up to chest level or higher and maintain continuous travel, combining walking and running classic, with other types of movements concur actividades.También legs (movement) with arm movements, thereby achieving a solicitation aerobic easy, thanks to the use of large muscle groups.

aquabuilding . It is a method developed by Lebaz in 1988, which is aimed at fitness and body sculpting in the aquatic environment (is based on the resistance of the water movement). This resistance is related to the execution speed of movement and joint position. It is therefore a progressive method with the special fitness that will prevent water in relation to other methods of bodybuilding, fitness or rehabilitation, follow exactly a custom program, long, difficult and often painful. Can also be done with weightlifting.

Aquastretching . Hair and Navacerrada (1997) "is developing a set of techniques that have to stretch your muscles and promote joint mobility in the water, benefiting from the qualities of massage and pressure associated with the medium, using as a vehicle flattering stretch ". Practitioners of flexibility training stretching muscularespara groups improve their long-term flexibility. To develop programs aquastreching passive techniques are used, active and PNF (Facilitation Proprioceptive Neuromuscular).

Water Walk. is the program that is striding with water waist-to chest at a rate fast enough to create overhead needed for cardio benefits. The type used should vary stride to make sure you use all major muscle groups of the lower body. The muscles of the upper part must also varied stroking forward and backward, describing figures. Career

in shallow water. Sova (1993) defined this activity as a program much like to walk on water, but is carried out with steps skipped. Participants who make a career in the water is up and partially out of it as they move through it, unlike the walking stride giving without jumping. Like walking on water, who make a career also vary your stride moving backward, forward and laterally to heel kicking back and upward, with her knees up to the front, with knees to the side, with legs extended, or running on the toes or heels. We must also vary the movements of the arms, stroking backward, forward, sideways pushing, punching, and paddling with your arms. The race program in the water should follow the format of a session of aerobic conditioning and cardio warm-up, followed by the aerobic part, the cool down, toning and stretching. Water Aerobics

power. is a conditioning program that combines cardio (aerobic), strength training and muscle tone in the aerobic training (Piget, 1991).

with step aerobics. session consists of exercises that mimic the cardiorespiratory fitness test Harvard Step Test. Step training fills the aerobic part of the session. Students use the stairs to the pool or banks to get on and off heavy of them rhythmically. Move vertically against gravity creates an intense aerobic exercise that focuses on the lower body. This is a session of high intensity and low impact.

Aquagym. activity is a complement to the water activities, which by its many applications can be used as program applicable at any point during the session, with various components and rich content (Salvador and Peris, 1994). This method attempts to bring physical activity to the water, adapting all the job opportunities arising from it and adding their own water (Brankart and Houpresse, 1989, Lemoine, 1992). Domain is a program with normal or low average and led the student to all kinds of people. Through the terrestrial gymnastic activities adapted to the aquatic environment, are designed to offer specific sports medical service transmits the water service. The latter program uses individualized and group guidelines for healthy children or people with some kind of altered aquatic exercises to develop various types of work through vertical and horizontal, with material and without (Daigneault, 1991; Ourlaouen, 1986) . With aqua fitness is improved, because their exercise is achieved adaptability to different swimming techniques. It also entails an important improvement in the recovery process of injuries (Bergen, 1991). Students exercise a specific muscle group with a move from 15 to 60 repetitions and then switch to another muscle group. The exercises of the upper and lower body are usually interspersed with periods of the middle part of the body or torso (obliques and abdominals) interspersed throughout the session. Students are usually standing on the edge of the pool or stay in flotation aid or without supporting material.

GymSwin. is a new discipline aquatic fitness. This is a method developed in water and is composed of contributions from various disciplines such as autogenic training, jogging, judo, boxing, gymnastics, dance, swimming, stretching, yoga, etc. and a sub-chosen music as the type of lesson to be developed. Combines the techniques of swimming water exercises aerobic and anaerobic. The real secret is in the order, in the variety of exercises and the "Triangle", an indispensable instrument for the practice of GymSwin. According to Vallone (1997), this gives a certain assurance to everyone who uses it.

Aquafic. aquatic program is a condition laid down by levels physical, meaning that the better physical condition improved health status (without reaching high levels of training or performance.) Is characterized by the student, before engaging in any of the various levels must carry a medical and a stress test, that can start at one level or another. The program consists of 4 levels of fitness that the student can go through some technical instructions outlined in the aquatic facility. When technicians feel that the student can pass the level, invite him to go to sporting medical service to rerun the stress test and check the new state achieved. For the development uses interval training. Interval training is not just a workout that combines high intensity parts of segments of moderate or low intensity. During continuous aerobic training, the exercise program is arranged so that the intensity of the session remains in the target heart rate throughout the session. Interval training is unique in the aspect of which is based on short bursts of intense exercise, during which the intensity of the session is at the top of the target area. Help the athlete to maintain near maximum heart rate for a longer total time than would be possible with continuous training.

aquaerobic. Aquaerobic programs, or aquamúsic aquabic consist of a set of aerobic activity in water and accompanied by music. By their methodology, will accommodate all types of people, including all those which, by prescription, may have restricted the work on land. Thus, the aquaerobic is encouraged to make a water gymnastics with music and exercises tailored to the different needs of students. You could say it is transferred to water aerobics. Intends to introduce in the aquatic environment new work alternatives, especially for groups Adult and youth (Pena, 1995). In aquaerobic pursued several goals: development of body language and sense of rhythm, as well as the assimilation of exercises, improving the physical qualities and skills in the aquatic environment, all in a relaxed atmosphere where students are fully integrated, surrounded by the music and the attention it demands. It is an activity that can make people of any age, gender and level in the aquatic environment, which takes place in shallow pool, but also the deep part can be used for students to master the water (and Roulex Gourlaquen 1994; Cavicchioli, 1995).

Hip-hop water. is an aquatic exercise program developed in shallow pool through a massive turnout to the rhythm of rap and a dance style.

Sometimes because of time in class is very fast heating and a few stretches, you concienciarte that all physical activity should always be preceded by a good stretch and warm up another stretch at the end, finally I propose a warming to do after stretching before class.

PRESSURE PROBLEMS I

2 .- Calculate the pressure exerted by a force of 100 N over an area of 2m2.

3 .- That pressure made on the screen a sewing needle that is pushed with a force of 40 N and has a section of 8.10 m2?

4 .- A bathyscaphe submerged in the ocean at a depth of 150 m. Calculate:

a) the pressure that exists at this depth (ocean water density = 1040 kg/m3)

b) The force that supports a built-in light of 40 cm in diameter

5 .- What pressure supports a Buzo submerged in the sea 10 meters deep. Water density = 1030 kg/m3

6 .- Calculate the pressure difference that exists between points A and B within a liquid of density 1200 kg/m3 are respectively 10 cm and 20 cm below the surface.

7 .- With a hydraulic press can get a force ten times higher than the employed. What can be said of the relationship between sections of the pistons?

8 .- The area of \u200b\u200bthe piston or plunger of a large hydraulic press is one hundred times larger than the small piston. Do you think the force that acts on the greater when it exerts on a small force of 50 N.

9 .- We need a hydraulic lift to lift a truck that weighs 20,000 N The lower section of the piston is 10 cm2, and the larger piston, 140 cm2. That we should apply force to the plunger small?
